Probably already been commented on but there is an error at the opening « trincher couldn’t catch a diamond to avoid losing a huge pot »… while in that hand harmitz (or w.e his name is) had the nut fush draw, so he still would have lost. Needed straight cards or? running two pair/trips.

It’s easy to look like a genius when the cards fall your way. Personally, I think Laak gambled a LOT (read: played loose) and won a few in a row. In the long run, he’ll probably lose more than he wins. Then again, we’ve all heard « it’s better to be? lucky than good ». There’s a reason they call this « gambling », after all.

ostropolo, you’re way off. Props is a game…. each player bets on what the flop will be like… prop bets are? bets that go like : » on the flop there will be 2 queens, or two hearts, or window card an ace » and so on. That’s it. Dumb luck, like gabe says.
